Figure 1 - Call Termination explained
There are telephone systems that allow users to be able to make calls. The telephones used by the participants are connected to a server (PBX). It is possible to configure settings in the server regarding the phone calls and it means you are able to configure the server to terminate/ end calls automatically after a certain period of time.Voicemails
Voicemails are responsible for exchanging voice messages between people. Voicemails are virtual extensions in the server that can also be configured regarding the length of the messages. The length of the message can be configured in the server. You can define how long someone can talk to leave a message.Extensions
In a company there are usually several extensions and telephone lines. When an extension is called, the call is forwarded to that certain extension according to the settings but if it is busy or there is no answer from the extension, the server forwards the call to another line. The call will be keep forwarded to other extensions until someone answers.Relation with Ozeki Phone System XE
