How to reset the admin password

This article gives you hints on how you can reset your forgotten password in 6 easy steps in Ozeki Phone System XE. Please follow the steps below and also check the screenshots to do this process successfully.

In that case you forget your password and you cannot login to the Ozeki Phone System XE Home page, you still have an option to reset your password. Then you will be able to use your Ozeki Phone System XE with full functionality again.

1. Login to Ozeki Phone System XE

After the failed login attempt you will see the next message on the screen (Figure 1).

2. Reset your password

You have a chance to reset your password if you download the latest version of Ozeki Phone System XE from the download page and install it again.

After you downloaded the Ozeki Phone System XE you can begin the installation process. Launch the installation wizard. Select Repair Ozeki Phone System XE field and click on the Finish button in the welcome page of the wizard (Figure 2).

Please wait until the installation process is done (Figure 3).

At the end of the installation process you will be able to update your password for the Ozeki Phone System XE admin account. Select Specify New Password field and add a new password and then confirm it. After updating click on Next button (Figure 4).

Right after the installation, the Ozeki Phone System WebGUI will appear. Here you can see the login window. Please type in your username and new password (Figure 5).

If you followed the process above, you will be able to login and see the Home page of Ozeki Phone System XE again.
