VoIP defined

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a methodology and group of technologies for the delivery of voice communications over IP (Internet Protocol) networks, such as the Internet or local networks. We use VoIP mainly to make calls, for this obviously we need some devices that can initiate and receive calls. These devices can be either softphones or hardware phones, the most important thing is that they have to support VoIP. With such a VoIP Phone System we not only can call the inner VoIP phones, but we can also call any outside, traditional phones.
