This guide shows how you can connect Ozeki Phone System XE to your Avaya IP Office. This solution gives you a brief explanation about how you can configure Ozeki Phone System XE as Voip Provider connect with Avaya IP Office.
If you or your corporation already have an operative PBX but you would like to use the
useful and particular features of the Ozeki Phone System XE you can easily connect them
by using the Ozeki Phone System XE VoIP service provider. It is also useful when you want
to connect your system to an outer service to make and accept calls by using outside lines.
It could be very effective to use the features of the Ozeki Phone System XE like the sending and receiving SMS messages besides VoIP calls and services and you can use the benefits of the Webphone of Ozeki. By connecting a webphone to your PBX you can make it possible for your customers to reach your support staff easily. Any web browser is capable of handling microphones and web cameras, making voice and video chat become available. And the visitors of your website can call your corporation for free because they can connect to your phone system.
Ozeki Phone System XE uses Voice over IP to establish phone calls. Using VoIP technology is less expensive than traditional phone services. With Ozeki Phone System XE you can view your registered phone line and your active phone calls. You can establish calls using Ozeki Phone System XE. You can also select the codec to be used during the phone call.This configuration guide demonstrates how you can connect Ozeki Phone System XE to your Avaya IP Office.
If you follow the configuration guide, you will have a telephone system that works as follows: First, rename the extension, that connects your Avaya IP Office to the Ozeki Phone System XE. Once Ozeki Phone System XE is connected, you can start your calls. The destination phone could be a VoIP phone, a land line phone or a mobile phone. You can see this process in Figure 1.

Before you start to configure this solution it is assumed that you have already installed your Avaya IP Office and downloaded Ozeki Phone System XE installer from the download page.

Once the updated configuration is saved, the configuration of Avaya IP Office is done and you can configure Ozeki Phone System XE.
It is assumed that you have already downloaded Ozeki Phone System XE and installed it into you computer.
You will need to login to the Ozeki Phone System XE and install a VoIP provider. At the VoIP provider installation section you can set General, Network and Call options and you can select the audio and the video codecs of the calls.
