getFps() method

If an OzCamera object is added to the program, this method can run on it. It is used to get the Fps (frames per second) of the video stream.

Returns

fps: Type: number. The fps (frame per second) value of the camera display.

Method usage example

In this example we will change the Fps of the video stream to 15 if it is smaller then 15 (Code example 1). 

//constructor of the myCam object, the default camera is used
var myCam = OzCamera.getCameraByName(); 

//if Fps is smaller then 15, then sets Fps to 15 pixels
if(myCam.getFps() < 15) 
	myCam.setMode(myCam.getWidth(), myCam.getHeight(), 15);
