How can I import a call list?

Follow these simple steps in order to import a call list. If you have an existing call list, this process takes at most a minute.

  1. Create a two-column call list in Microsoft Excel. Fill out the first column with telephone numbers and type their corresponding recording file name into the second column.

  2. Save your call list as a csv file.

  3. Open Ozeki Broadcast By Phone.

  4. Open your previously created call list by clicking on 'Open' menu item and browsing the proper csv file. Having done these steps, your call list will be loaded.

How many phone calls can I make simultaneously?

The number of simultaneous calls depends on your Ozeki Phone System license. It means that you can dial as many simultaneous calls as your PBX allows.

Additionally, you can specify the number of simultaneous calls within the Ozeki Broadcast By Phone software application, on its configuration panel as well, if you need to limitate or decrease the number of simultaneous calls.

For this purpose, click on the 'Settings' tab at first. Take a look at the bottom of the window and specify the 'Number of concurrent works'. Finally, click on the 'Save' button.

Before playing my voice message, there is a long silence. Why?

Fistly, be sure that your prerecorded message does not start with silence. In that case, you need to record a new message or you should remove the silence by cutting it off using a sound editor software.

If you make voice calls through VoIP, please check your Internet connection. Each line requires 64Kbps for both download and upload speed. Be sure that you have a stable and reliable broadband Internet connection.

Can I broadcast from a remote location?

Yes, you can connect to Ozeki Phone System from a remote location. For this purpose, you need to open the number 7778 port on your firewall, where the your Ozeki Phone System has been running as well.
