How much it costs to get Broadcast By Email?

It costs nothing. You can download its installer and source code absolutely free. Ozeki Broadcast By Email (and the other example program as well) can be used and modified freely under certain conditions.

For using Ozeki sample programs, you need an Ozeki Phone System. In order to unlimited usage you should buy an Ozeki Phone System IP PBX license. The license you have bought determines the number of simultaneous e-mails/calls/messages concerning to these sample programs as well.

How can I import a mailing list?

Follow these simple steps in order to import a mailing list. If you have an existing list, this process takes at most a minute.

  1. Create a three-column call list in Microsoft Excel. Fill out the first column with e-mail addresses then specify an e-mail subject in the next field and type the content of the e-mail in the third one.

  2. Save your mailing list as a csv file.

  3. Open Ozeki Broadcast By Email.

  4. Open your previously created mailing list by clicking on 'Open' menu item and browsing the proper csv file. Having done these steps, your mailing list will be loaded.

What does it happen if my mailing list is missing some values?

After clicking on 'Start' button, the application indicates that your loaded mailing list contains invalid data. The blank fields can be edited or skipped.

How can I configure the outgoing (SMTP) server?

Fistly, please ask your IT experts or your ISP support for your SMTP account information. If you are currently use Microsoft Outlook, check these programs for the server setup info. After you have got your SMTP data, follow these steps below:

  1. Login to Ozeki Phone System and install an E-mail provider connection by using your SMTP account information.

  2. Install an API Extension that will be used in the application

  3. Configure routing rules: set up that the e-mails coming from the API Extension will be routed toward the E-mail provider.

What can I do against my e-mail being sent to spam folders?

Since e-mail broadcasting can be too fast sometimes, may make e-mail servers believe you have sent spam messages. However, Ozeki Broadcast By Email is able to control the time how quickly messages are sent. By using this option, you can make sure your mailings aren't mistaken for spam. In addition, it is worth to ask your recipients to add your domain name or e-mail address to their safe-mail lists.

In order to set the delay time, select 'Settings' menu item then choose 'Number of concurrent works'.
